Cup of Coffee: Romero and Castro homer twice for WooSox
7/1 Cup of Coffee: There was plenty of offense throughout the Red Sox system on Tuesday night, headlined by a pair of two-homer nights for the WooSox. The Sea Dogs hit four home runs in a loss, including another blast for Franklin Arias. Luke Heyman had a big game in a walkoff loss for the Drive, while the Salem pitchers were hit hard in a blowout. Garielvin Silverio and Dawvris Brito, the receipients of the highest bonuses in the Red Sox 2026 international class, both had standout games in the DSL.

The WooSox rode a pair of monster offensive performances to the win on Tuesday night. Mikey Romero continued his recent hot streak as he went 2 for 5 with two homers, a walk, and four RBIs. Romero now has four home runs in his last four games. Allan Castro (pictured) delivered a huge game as well, going 4 for 6 with two home runs, three runs scored, and five RBI. Braiden Ward wet 2 for 5 with a walk and recorded his 35th stolen base of the season. Nathan Hickey was 2 for 4 with two doubles, two runs, and two RBI.
