2022 MLB First Year Player Draft Picks No. 1-28

The 2022 MLB First Year Player Draft is underway from Seattle, the site of this year's All-Star Game festivities, as the first two rounds are on Sunday night. There are only technically 28 first round picks this year, as the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers each had their pick moved down 10 spots due to luxury tax penalties. Collegiate players were the more popular picks in the first round, as 17 of the selections were from the college ranks, including the top two picks in Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews, as well as Boston's pick, as the Red Sox went with Virginia catcher Kyle Teel.

Here is who each team selected with the first 28 picks in the draft.
