MLB Draft Day Three
The first two days of the MLB draft are in the books. Boston will have ten more picks today during Day Three of the draft, starting with pick number 316 at the start of the eleventh round. If history is any indicator, the Red Sox could o pop a few high-bonus potential prep prospects among the first few picks of the day, particularly in the eleventh round. One might think the club worked the phones last night to line up a deal with one of those players in advance. Here's a look at some of the best players available according to Baseball America (BA), MLB Pipeline (MLB), and Perfect Game (PG). While these are among the best players available, they very well could be out of Boston's bonus pool range and/or already decided to attend college in the Fall.
