The first day of the MLB first-year player draft has wrapped, and the Boston Red Sox selected Cameron Cannon with the 43rd overall selection. Boston then chose Matthew Lugo with the 69th overall selection. Boston will have eight picks on Tuesday during Day 2 of the draft, starting with pick number 107 at the end of the third round. Currently, 21 players remain who are ranked in the top-80 of MLB.com's Top 200 and there's a chance one could slip to the Red Sox at 107.
