Player of the Day: Matthew Kent has recovered nicely from a 10-hit debacle on August 7 in a loss to Erie with two consecutive quality starts. Following up a seven-inning outing last Sunday with a 6 2/3 inning performance on Saturday. The left-hander gave up two hits and walked four but stranded those runners without allowing a run to improve to 9-8 on the season.
