The PawSox were rained out for a second straight night, and the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader during Pawtucket's trip to Indianapolis at the end of July. The two teams are already playing a doubleheader on Thursday to make up Tuesday night's rain out.

Portland also got rained out again and the two teams will now play a doubleheader on May 16 and July 21.

Lynchburg scored early and often as they pummeled Salem. Dedgar Jimenez got the start and gave up six runs, five earned, over four innings. Jordan Weems had his first poor outing of the season, giving up three runs in 2 1/3 innings. Mitchell Osnowitz was the only pitcher who found some success. tossing two scoreless innings. Chad De La Guerra and Kyri Washington combined for four of Salem's seven hits, with De La Guerra also adding a walk. Austin Rei went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while Michael Chavis and Josh Ockimey combined to go 0 for 8.

Robby Sexton had gotten off to a rough start this year, entering the game with an ERA over 5, but he was nearly unhittable in Greenville's win over Greensboro. Sexton allowed only one hit over six shutout innings, walking two and striking out seven. Sexton did not get the win as the game remained scoreless until the bottom of the seventh when the Drive exploded for seven runs. Mitchell Gunsolus launched a three-run home run, his first of the year, to break the game open, and Tucker Tubbs added an RBI single. Tyler Hill added two steals to give him a system-leading nine on the season.

Player of the Night: Robby Sexton's six innings of one-hit ball were enough to win him the award on a quiet night. Sexton, who turns 23 later this month, was dominant in the GCL after being drafted last summer, allowing four runs while striking out 23 over 20 innings. After surrendering nine runs over his first 16 innings this season, he was able to get back on track last night with an impressive performance. The left-hander will always be tough on lefties with his three-quarters arm slot, and for that reason he is a name to keep an eye on as he moves through the system.
