Teddy Stankiewicz pitched well, throwing seven strong innings, allowing three runs on five hits while striking out four. Jonathan Aro blew the save and took the loss as he allowed three unearned runs in the bottom half of the ninth inning thanks to three errors by Tzu-Wei Lin in the inning. Three players collected two hits in the contest, including a double and a triple off the bat of Carlos Asuaje. Wendell Rijo and Kevin Mager were the other two players to have two hits.

Player of the Night: Despite strong performances all over the board, Pat Light takes home the honors. The 2012 first-rounder had struggled since his promotion to Salem, scuffling to a 5.92 ERA in 13 games started for Salem. This marks Light's second win in a row, as he dominated the Wilmington Blue Rocks (KC) in his last outing.
