New SoxProspects Forum

After weeks of back-end work, this morning we changed forum hosts from Yuku to Proboards. The new Forum is located at  http://forum.soxprospects.com. The Yuku forum is now locked down, and all links off of the main navigation bars throughout SoxProspects.com now re-route to the new board. If you haven't done so yet, members will have to sign up for new accounts on the new board.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we've chosen to make this move after receiving lots of member feedback, staff discussions, trying to make Yuku work, reviewing external options, and back-end work. Ultimately, we decided to make the move after years of unresolved issues with Yuku, including unacceptable down time and apparently unfixable user routing problems. We hope there will be no more white-screens, back door links, or time jumps.  

For what it's worth, Proboards has recently been voted the best forum host on the web by several different industry consortia. It has several improved features over Yuku. For example, Proboards has dedicated iPhone and Droid apps, allows YouTube embedding and member file storage/attachments, has better poll options, and has 24/7 support. Proboards also had approximately 99.95% uptime in 2011. Users can register via their Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Yahoo accounts, in addition to the standard Proboards signup process. The new Forum will continue to be free of ads in posts.

Please head over to the new board and sign up, whether you've been with us since 2003 or if you've never posted here but always wanted to. Also, we're totally open to your comments and suggestions about the new board, which will be a work-in-progress through Spring Training 2013. I've already started a new thread on the new main board just for that reason.
