Hottovy throws 2 perfect innings in Lowell loss
6/23 Cup of Coffee: Action on Monday was limited to just two teams with Durham downing Pawtucket 3-1. Clay Buchholz started and went 3.2 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 5 walks. He struck out 4. Randor Bierd threw 2 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 3 walks. Javier Lopez pitched 1.1 scoreless frames giving up 1 hit. He fanned 1. Billy Traber tossed a clean inning. Jeff Bailey went 2 for 4.In the only other contest, Oneonta defeated Lowell 4-1 scoring 3 runs in the top of the 12th inning. Ryan Pressly pitched 5 innings allowing 1 run on 7 hits. He did not allow a walk and had 5 strikeouts. Tommy Hottovy threw 2 perfect innings of relief fanning 3. Jeremiah Bayer tossed a clean inning recording a strikeout.
