Capellan struggles in start
10/2 Cup of Coffee: Despite being outhit 11-2 by Honolulu, North Shore rallied with 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh to salvage a 6-6 tie. Both teams had agreed to play only seven innings due to depleted pitching staffs. Jose Capellan started the game and threw 2 innings. He allowed 3 runs, 2 of them earned, on 6 hits and a walk. Ryan Kalish went 0 for 2 but had a walk and scored a run.
