4/26 Cup of Coffee: Chris Smith threw 6 innings of shutout 1 hit ball to lead Pawtucket to a 6-1 win over Syracuse. He allowed 3 BB while fanning 2. Edgar Martinez went the final 3 innings giving up 1 run on 1 hit. He struck out 5. Chris Carter went 2 for 3 with a run scored and a RBI. Keith Ginter went 3 for 4. Jon Van Every went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 runs scored.
