Bowden throws 6 scoreless innings in Sea Dog win
4/27 Cup of Coffee: On Saturday, Buffalo downed Pawtucket 4-1. Devern Hansack (0-3) went 2 2/3 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 BB. He had 3 Ks. Jon Switzer threw 2 1/3 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits and 2 BB. He had 2 Ks. After his brief one game stint in Boston, Criag Hansen continued his scoreless streak by throwing 2 perfect innings with 3 Ks. Lincoln Holdzkom threw 1 inning giving up a run on 3 BB. Jeff Bailey went 1 for 3 and scored a run.
Portland hammered Binghampton 12-1. Michael Bowden (1-2) retired the first 11 batters he faced on route to throwing 6 scoreless frames. He gave up 3 hits and did not walk a batter. He fanned 11.
