Diaz's bat continues to sizzle
10/12 Cup of Coffee: Last night in the Arizona Fall League, Mesa fell 9-3 to Surprise. Daniel Haigwood (0-1) started and took the loss lasting only 2/3 of an inning. He gave up 5 runs on 3 hits and 4 BB. Jose Vaquedano threw 1 1/3 innings of relief. He did not allow a run on 3 hits and a BB. Hunter Jones threw 1 inning and gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He had 1 K. Dusty Brown went 0 for 1 and Jon Still was 0 for 2. In Hawaii, Honolulu edged West Oahu 8-7. Jason Place went 0 for 1 as a pinch hitter. Argenis Diaz continued to impress going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. He is now hitting .407.
