Lancaster's season over
9/12 Cup of Coffee: It is hard to believe that this is the last Cup of Coffee left in the pot and the pot won't be refilled until the Arizona Fall League begins. All this the result of Lancaster being eliminated from the Cal League playoffs last night as a result of a 14-7 loss to Lake Elsinore. They were outhit in the game 19-6. The Jethawks, after such a strong regular season winning both halves, fell easily 3 games to 1 in the first round of the playoffs. It is a disappointing end to what otherwise was an excellent regular season by the team. TJ Nall started the game and took the loss. He gave up 5 runs on 9 hits and a BB. He had 2 K. TJ Large went 2 innings and gave up 6 runs on 5 hits and 2 BB. He had 1 K. Chad Rhoades threw 1 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. He had 1 K. Blake Maxwell pitched the final inning allowing 1 run on 2 hits and a BB. He had 1 K. Sal Paniagua went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI.
Player of the Night: Sal Paniagua who went 2 for 4 with 2 homers and 5 RBI
