Sox re-acquire former prospect Baker

The Boston Red Sox re-acquired former first round pick Brad Baker from the Atlanta Braves in order to the complete the deal that sent Franklin Nunez to the Braves earlier this spring. Baker, the Sox top pick in 1999, was originally traded to the San Diego Padres in the 2002 deal that had sent Alan Embree to the Red Sox. The 25 year-old righty had gone 1-0 with a 2.40 ERA out of the bullpen for Richmond (AAA) in 2006 before being traded. He has been assigned to Pawtucket (AAA).
