Angelo Ladera got the start and went the first four innings, allowing three unearned runs on three hits, three walks, and three strikeouts. Yomar De La Rosa worked his way around a two-out walk in a scoreless seventh to notch his second save of the season.

Freyerso Vasquez and Isaac Velasquez had strong days at the plate for the Blue squad. Vasquez went 2 for 5 with one double, his first professional home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Velasquez went 2 for 4 with one triple, his first professional home run, one RBI, and one run scored. Miguel Welch (solo) and Santiago Yanes (two-run) also homered for their lone hits of the contest. Garielvin Silverio went 2 for 4 with one RBI, two runs scored, and one walk. Enmanuel Figuereo and Luis Aular combined for five walks, with the former scoring once and the latter driving in one run.

Allan Griman got the start on the mound and went the first three innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits, one walk, one hit by pitch, and four strikeouts. Geomaikel Martinez stood out at the plate for the Red squad, going 3 for 4 with his first professional home run, two RBIs, and one run scored. Axell Herrera went 2 for 4 with one double and one run scored. Anderber Urbina went 2 for 3 with one run scored and one walk. Eliezer Alfonzo singled, scored one run, stole one base, and drew two walks.

Steven Garcia took the loss in his start on the mound, allowing four earned runs on four hits (including one home run), one walk, one hit by pitch, and two strikeouts over three innings. Player of the Day: Geomaikel Martinez gets the nod for hitting the first home run and logging the first three-hit game of his professional career on Monday. Signed for $40,000 out of Venezuela last January, the 18-year-old outfielder is repeating the Dominican Summer League this season and has gotten off to an encouraging start. In five games for the Red squad, he has gone 10 for 18 (.556) with two doubles, one triple, one home run, seven RBIs, four runs scored, and one stolen base. He is not currently ranked among the organization's top 60 prospects.
