Player of the Day: Franklin Primera gets the nod for going deep for the second time in three games. Through his first 13 games (51 plate appearances) of the season for the FCL Red Sox, the 18-year-old catcher is slashing an impressive .405/.569/.622 with two doubles, two home runs, four RBIs, nine runs scored, one stolen base, 12 walks, and four strikeouts. From behind the plate, he has thrown out four of 39 possible base stealers. Originally signed out of Venezuela for just $10,000 in September 2024, Primera is currently ranked as the No. 33 prospect in the organization.
