The WooSox made the game interesting with a three-run rally in the seventh inning but they were unable to complete the comeback against Rochester. Anthony Seigler was Worcester's star on offense, as he drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and a two-run single in the seventh. He was 2 for 4 with a walk and three RBI in the game. Shortstop Tsung-Che Cheng went 1 for 2 with two walks, two runs scored, and an RBI. Nate Eaton was 3 for 5 with two runs scored out of the leadoff spot in the lineup.
Making his second start with the WooSox, Raymond Burgos struggled on Tuesday night as he surrendered six runs on seven hits in four innings. Noah Song was the first pitcher out of the bullpen and he was excellent, punching out three batters in two scoreless innings. Danny Coulombe allowed a run in 2/3 of an inning in the second outing of his rehab assignment.

Anthony Eyanson was unhittable through five innings in his second start at the Double-A level, striking out four batters and walking three to earn his first win with the Sea Dogs. Joe Vogatsky and Reidis Sena continued Portland's dominant pitching performance, throwing two shutout innings apiece and striking out four and five batters, respectively. Portland's bats were quiet as well but they were able to scrape together enough offense to support the outstanding game by the pitching staff, picking up runs on RBI singles by Ahbram Liendo in the second inning and Franklin Arias in the seventh inning. Arias was 2 for 4 in the game, pushing his slash line to .336/.422/.603 as his standout season continues.

After struggling to start a rally for the first seven innings, the Drive exploded for eight runs in the eighth inning. Jack Winnay, who put the Drive on the board with a solo home run in the fourth inning, delivered the go-ahead hit as he cracked a line drive single to left field to score two runs. Isaiah Jackson followed him with a two-run blast, his fifth of the season, to give Greenville some insurance. Winnay was 2 for 4 with three RBI and a walk on the night. Justin Gonzales was 2 for 4 with a walk and he added an RBI single of his own in the eighth inning.
Austin Erlicher tossed the first 2 2/2 innings for the Drive, striking out four batters but struggling with his control as he walked three and allowed two runs. Ben Hansen was electric out of the bullpen, fanning nine batters and surrendering one run on three hits in 4 1/3 innings. Steven Brooks closed out the game with two innings of one-run ball, striking out three hitters.
