Jovani Moran struggled out of the bullpen, surrendering three earned runs on four hits in one inning. Dalton Rogers took a tough loss despite pitching well, as he only gave up two runs (one earned) in six innings of work. The lefty surrendered just two hits, and struck out three while walking three. It was the first time this season where Rogers completed six innings. Jeremy Wu-Yelland came on in relief and allowed one run in two innings with three strikeouts. Jorge Juan tacked on a scoreless frame as well. The Portland offense was held to just five hits, with Ahbram Liendo having the only multi-hit effort. The second baseman singled, doubled, and scored a run. Zach Ehrhard reached base twice by going 1 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base. Max Ferguson also singled and swiped his 21st bag of the season.

The bottom of the Greenville lineup did the most damage offensively on an otherwise quiet night. Hudson White and Albert Feliz each went 2 for 4, with the latter roping a double and knocking in both of the Drive's runs. Miguel Bleis went 1 for 4 with his 12th two-bagger of the year, and Nelly Taylor reached base twice with two walks. Shea Sprague started on the bump for Greenville and allowed three earned runs over five innings. The southpaw struck out three and issued just one walk. Jacob Webb fired a shutout inning in the sixth with one strikeout and one walk. Isaac Stebens tossed a scoreless inning as well with two strikeouts.

Player of the Day: It's rare to see a rehabbing player take home this award, but Tanner Houck gets the nod after his most encouraging rehab start. His most used pitches were his sinker (35) and sweeper (23). The sweeper was his best pitch, getting either a called strike or a swinging strike on 12 of his 23 offerings. According to Baseball Savant, his average sinker was 94.8 mph.
