Lopez' Cardenales de Lara will enter the playoffs as the second seed. Juan Hernandez appeared in five games, three as a pinch-runner and two as a defensive replacement in right field. He also made an appearance in center field. Hernandez' team, Caribes de Anzoategui, will also advance to the playoffs as the sixth seed.

Australian Baseball League
Jake Romanski played in eight games over the past couple weeks and went 7 for 28 with seven singles. He drove in one, scored three runs, stole a base, walked three times, and only struck out twice.

Harrison Cooney tossed five solid innings. He allowed three runs, but only one was earned because of a home run. He stuck out six and walked only one. Daniel McGrath made his debut by pitching a scoreless frame while allowing no hits and one walk with zero strikeouts.

Mexican Pacific League
According to reports, the Red Sox recently brought back Bryce Brentz on a minor league deal. The 29-year old played in eight games this fall for Naranjeros de Hermosillo, but has not seen action since late October. He batted .188 with no extra-base hits in 36 plate appearances. Hermosillo closed out the regular season by posting the best second-half record at 15-8, and they enter the playoffs tied with Tomateros de Culiacan for the best overall record in the league.

Dominican Baseball League
Both Jhon Nunez's team, Toros del Este, and Chris Madera's Estrellas de Oriente have made it to the league's semifinals, though neither player has made an appearance as the teams shift towards using more veteran players.
