9/10 Cup of Coffee: The Drive made sure the minor league season would go a little longer for the Red Sox affiliates, winning the clinching game of their series with Charleston.

The Drive won the Southern Division title, beating the River Dogs in the decisive game of the best-of-three series. They now move on to play the Kannapolis Intimidators (CWS) for the South Atlantic League championship.

The Drive got another good start, this time from Hildemaro Requena, who went 7 1/3 shutout innings.  Requena allowed only four hits and walked three while striking out four. Daniel Gonzalez came on with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth and he got a fly out to end the game. The big hit was provided by Bobby Dalbec (pictured, above), who went 2 for 4 with a three-run home run that added some insurance in the bottom of the eighth.

Player of the Night: Hildemaro Requena entered the game on a hot streak, and he did not cool down at all on Saturday. He is now 8-0 in his last nine games, allowing only three earned runs over 53 1/3 innings. If this was his last start of the season, he ended it with a career-high 7 1/3 innings, while extending his scoreless-inning streak to 35 1/3 innings.
