The first day of the MLB first-year player draft has passed, with Red Sox picks Tanner Houck and Cole Brannen among the 75 players selected. Boston will have eight picks on Tuesday, beginning with the 101st selection. There are 16 players currently remaining on the board who are ranked in the top 70 of the Baseball America Top 500 and/or the MLB.com Top 200
