Sunday's game in Rochester was postponed due to rain. The PawSox and Red Wings will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on July 5.

The Sea Dogs rode a five-run third inning to a shutout win at Hadlock Field. Rafael Devers capped the inning with a grand slam, his fourth home run in May. He has adjusted well to Double-A and is now slashing .325/.364/.602 with six homers. Brock Holt, in Portland on a rehab assignment, was 1 for 3 as the designated hitter. Jalen Beeks threw five dominant innings, striking out eight while allowing two hits and two walks. Ty Buttrey tossed two shutout innings of relief, fanning two.

Taylor Grover made the start in the second game of Portland's doubleheader, allowing a run in four innings. Williams Jerez threw two scoreless frames of relief before Jamie Callahan allowed a run in the seventh. The Sea Dogs lineup only collected three hits, with Danny Mars, Tzu-Wei Lin, and Deiner Lopez recording singles.

Trailing by five runs, the Red Sox mounted a comeback win on the strength of a six-run fourth inning. Salem loaded the bases to start the inning and Nick Lovullo got the ball rolling with a two-run double. Michael Chavis was 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI. Josh Ockimey was 1 for 3 with a double, a walk, and an RBI. Starting pitcher Daniel McGrath allowed six runs (five earned) in 3 1/3 innings. Jordan Weems and Adam Lau were able to combine for 3 2/3 scoreless frames of relief to secure the win.

Michael Chavis started the scoring early with a first-inning home run as part of a big game, as he was 2 for 2 with a walk. Trenton Kemp was 1 for 3 with a run and an RBI. Roniel Raudes threw five scoreless innings, but walked four while striking out two. Austin Glorius gave up two runs in an inning of relief but Bobby Poyner picked up the save with a scoreless inning.

Chris Madera came up with the biggest hit of the game for Greenville, as he led the team to a walkoff win with an RBI single in the bottom of the twelfth. Bobby Dalbec was 2 for 6 with a solo home run, his second of the season. Roldani Baldwin was 3 for 5 with a double. Lorenzo Cedrola was 2 for 5 with a triple and an RBI. Mike Shawaryn dominated with six innings of one-run ball, striking out 12 and walking one. Stephen Nogosek threw two shutout innings of relief, striking out four.

Player of the Night: Mike Shawaryn cut through the Augusta lineup on Saturday night, collecting 12 strikeouts in six innings. He allowed one run on three hits and a walk, lowering his ERA to 3.99 on the season. Shawaryn struggled mightily in his first start of the season but since then has allowed four runs in 27 1/3 innings with 42 strikeouts and six walks. Drafted in the fifth round of last year's draft out of Maryland, Shawaryn could move quickly through the low minors.
