Pawtucket Red Sox 4, Durham Bulls (TB) 1
After splitting the first two games of the series in Pawtucket, the PawSox took two out of three from the Bulls in Durham.

Couch and Miguel Celestino combined for the three-hit masterpiece to take home the hardware. Couch fired 6 2/3 innings of one-hit baseball, walking two and striking out four. Celestino closed out the final 2 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on a solo shot in the top half of the ninth.

Like they have in each of the four previous games, the PawSox drew first blood in this one. After two singles by Ryan Lavarnway and Ivan De Jesus in the top of the first, Bryce Brentz doubled to plate one run. Rusney Castillo scored another run in the third after doubling and stealing third and then trotting home on a De Jesus sacrifice fly. Lavarnway put the Sox up by three when he crushed a home run to center field in the top of the fifth.

Lavarnway took home the hardware after the game too, being awarded the Governors' Cup Most Valuable Player award. Lavarnway went 10 for 22 in five games with a home run, a double and three RBI.
