Webster is receiving SoxProspects.com player of the week honors for the first time this season after his strong start against the Norfolk Tides (BAL) on May 30.  Webster threw eight innings giving up only three hits and striking out seven. The eight innings were the most Webster has pitched this season. His high this season for strikeouts came on May 14 against Indianapolis (PIT) when he struck out nine batters.  This season, Webster leads Pawtucket with a 2.93 ERA in 12 appearances.  Webster is currently ranked fifth in the organization by SoxProspects.com.

Witte is quickly compiling awards as this is the second time this year has been named SoxProspects player of the week while also being named the player of the month for May.  Witte picked up a hit in every game but one this past week.  He also had six multi-hit games in that span.  Witte leads the South Atlantic League in batting average and is tied for first in RBI.
