In the final 10 rounds, the Red Sox continued this year's trend of drafting high school players. They rounded up this year's draft with three high school selections, with two of those committed to Division 1 schools, upping their high-school draftee total to 18 for this year's draft. Ben Cherington and company drafted only 11 high schoolers last year.

Projects for average power once he adds strength to his 5-foot-10, 197-pound frame. Has an advanced understanding for the game and plays aggressively.

33rd round (983) - Andrew Rosa, SS, Owasso HS (OK): A 2013 Rawlings West All-Region 1st team selection, Rosa is a Oklahoma State commit who showed good defense and offense at the Perfect Game (PG) National Game, according to PG. Right-handed batter who's 6-foot-2, 185 pounds.

36th round (1073) - Pat Goetze, RHP, Wake Country Home School (NC): Goetze had Tommy John surgery his junior year, according to Newsobserver.com, making him the second Red Sox draftee who's had Tommy John (Jordan Sheffield, 13th round). He made his first appearance since the procedure in March.

37th round (1103) - Max Watt, RHP, Hillsborough Community College (FL): A reliever, Watt had a 5.67 ERA with 30 strikeouts and 15 walks in 39 2/3 innings with Hillsborough.
