Winter League Roundup: February 4-10
The Caribbean Series finished up this week with Mexico outlasting the Dominican Republic 4-3 in 18 innings to take home the title. With the offseason all-but concluded, this will be the last installment of the Winter League Roundup. Look for regular updates from Fort Myers in the coming weeks.

Oscar Villarreal made three appearances this week out of the bullpen. On Monday against Venezuela, Villarreal picked up the save by striking out two in his lone inning of work. The next day, Villarreal received the loss against Mexico as he allowed three runs on a hit and two walks in just 2/3 of an inning.
Villarreal retired the lone batter he faced in the epic 18 inning championship game on Thursday.
