The Red Sox formally announced their 2013 minor league coaching staffs on Friday. The breakdown for each team is as follows:

Triple-A Pawtucket

Manager: Gary Disarcina
Pitching Coach: Rich Sauveur
Hitting Coach: Dave Joppie
Trainer: Jon Jochim

Disarcina returns to the Boston organization after spending the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Angels as special assistant to the general manager and field coordinator. Disarcina previously managed Short-Season A Lowell from 2007-2009, winning back-to-back division titles in 2008 and 2009. Sauveur enters his sixth season with the PawSox, while Joppie will be making his debut with Pawtucket after spending the past four seasons in the same capacity with Portland.

Double-A Portland

Manager: Kevin Boles
Pitching Coach: Bob Kipper
Hitting Coach: Rich Gedman
Trainer: Brandon Henry

Boles and Kipper return for their third and fifth seasons, respectively, in Portland. Gedman makes his debut with Portland after serving as hitting coach for Salem in 2012 and Lowell in 2011.

High-A Salem

Manager: Billy McMillon
Pitching Coach: Kevin Walker
Hitting Coach: Nelson Paulino
Trainer: David Herrera

McMillon and Walker will return to Salem for their second and third seasons, respectively. Paulino enters his first season with Salem after serving as hitting coach for Lowell last season. Paulino is entering his 16th season with the Red Sox organization.

Low-A Greenville

Manager: Carlos Febles
Pitching Coach: Paul Abbott
Hitting Coach: Tim Hyers
Trainer: Mackenzie Zabbo

Febles returns for a second season in Greenville after managing Lowell in 2011. Abbott becomes Greenville's pitching coach after two seasons in the same capacity with Lowell. Hyers was the Red Sox' Georgia-area scout for four seasons and will move into coaching.

Short-Season-A Lowell

Manager: Bruce Crabbe
Pitching Coach: Walter Miranda
Hitting Coach: Noah Hall
Trainer: TBD

Crabbe is back for his second consecutive year in Lowell, having previously managed the Spinners in 2006 and 2010. Miranda returns to Lowell after having served as pitching coach for the Spinners in 2005-2006 and 2008. He has spent the past five seasons as pitching coach of the GCL Red Sox. Hall begins his first season with Lowell after making his coaching debut with the GCL Red Sox last season.

Rookie-Gulf Coast League Red Sox

Manager: Darren Fenster
Pitching Coach: Dick Such
Hitting Coach: U.L. Washington
Coach: Tom Kotchman
Trainer: Mauricio Elizondo

Fenster will be a first time manager in 2013 after making his professional coaching debut in 2012 as hitting coach for Greenville. Such becomes the GCL pitching coach after holding the same title with Greenville from 2011-2012 and Salem from 2009-2010. Washington is something of a Fort Myers institution, entering his eighth season with the GCL club. Kotchman returns to the Boston organization for the first time since managing Single-A Winter Haven from 1982-1983. Kotchman is a veteran of 34 year as a minor league manager and scout, spending the past 29 years with the Angels organization. Kotchman is the father of major league first baseman Casey Kotchman.
