Red Sox announce 2012 Futures at Fenway
The Red Sox announced yesterday that they will host the seventh annual Futures at Fenway, presented by Xfinity, minor league doubleheader at Fenway Park on Saturday, August 18.
This year the first game will begin at 1:05pm and feature the Short-Season A Lowell Spinners against the Hudson Valley Renegades, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The second game will pit the Pawtucket Red Sox against the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets.
The day of baseball at "America's Most Beloved Ballpark" allows fans the opportunity to see two great games at an affordable price, with tickets starting at only $5. The Red Sox will also offer discounted concessions and family friendly fun, including the opportunity for children in attendance to participate in on-field events. It is also a great opportunity for autograph seekers young and old with player autograph sessions taking place throughout the day.
