Harper homers in third consecutive game as Scottsdale beats Salt River

10/29 Cup of Coffee: Bryce Harper (WAS) is getting comfortable in Arizona. The stud prospect hit a home run in his third consecutive game and is now batting .435 over his last 6 appearances. His success has helped the last place Scorpions as they have now won two games in a row after beating the Salt River Rafters 9-5.

On a night when most Red Sox prospects did not play, it was more of the same for the Scorpions offense. Every player collected at least 1 hit, led by Harper's homer. RBI doubles from Mike Trout (LAA), Joe Panik (SF), and  Zach Walters (WAS), proved to be too much for the Rafters as the Scorpions slugged their way to victory

Tyler Cloyd (PHI) pitched well to earn the win. He threw 4.0 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Will Latimer followed him and he threw 1.0 innings allowing 0 hits or runs. Caleb Clay threw a scoreless eighth, allowing 1 hit.

The Scorpions will look to push their mini win streak to 3 games tonight as they play the Rafters again. This game will be at home and will start at 9:35 EST.
