In line behind Pedroia?

With Dustin Pedroia locked up to man second base for the Red Sox for the next four to five years, there’s presently not a lot of need for blue-chip minor league depth at the position. Moreover, major league second basemen often climb the minor league ranks as shortstops, only to be converted to second base at higher levels. Regardless, the club still has seven affiliates, all of which obviously need players to man second on a daily basis. A few of those players are looking like solid prospects at this point.
