In the bottom of the fourth, Jason Kipnis (CLE) picked up his second RBI of the game with a double, cutting the Solar Sox lead to 6-2. After scoring a run in the sixth, the Javelinas got things going in the seventh with a leadoff single by Jose Iglesias, who then came around to score on a Ryan Lavarnway double. Kipnis knocked in the game-tying run on a double for his 3rd RBI. A fielder's choice and an error allowed Peoria to pick up another two runs to go ahead 8-6. After the Javelinas allowed a run in the top of the eighth, David Carpenter (HOU) came on to shut the door for the save.
