Ellsbury headed to DL, McDonald called up
The Red Sox have placed Jacoby Ellsbury on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 12, making him the second outfielder the team has put on the DL today. To fill Ellsbury's roster spot, the Red Sox have recalled Darnell McDonald from Triple-A Pawtucket.
