Reddick promoted to Portland
Outfielder Josh Reddick has been promoted from the Lancaster Jethawks to the Portland Seadogs on Sunday. Reddick, 21, has been tearing up the California league this season posting .343/.375/.593 with 17 home runs, 57 Runs Batted In, and 9 Stolen Bases in 76 games after a brief stint with the Greenville Drive to begin the season. Selected in the 17th Round of the 2006 1st-Year Player draft, Reddick spent last season with the Greenville Drive hitting .306 with 18 home runs and 72 Runs Batted In in 94 games.
Outfielder Bubba Bell has been placed on the DL with a stress fracture in his leg as the counter move to this transaction.
