Player of the Week, 5/26-6/1: Bubba Bell
After another white hot week at the plate, Portland CF Bubba Bell has earned his second SoxProspects.com Player of the Week honors of the month of May for 5/26-6/1. Bell, 25, clubbed his way to a .519/.552/1.000 line with three home runs and nine runs batted in while scoring eight runs and stealing a base. Bell has been especially hot in May after starting off slowly in April posting a .431 average and an OPS 1.285 while hitting six home runs and driving in thirteen runs.
