In a week that boasted many outstanding offensive performances, Pawtucket 1B/RF Jeff Bailey distinguished himself with four home runs, two doubles and two triples while posting a .429/.484/.1.071 (1.555 OPS) line, batting in eight runs while scoring nine, and running away with SoxProspects.com Player of the Week voting for May 12-18. This is Bailey's second player of the week award, he previously won for April 28-May 5. He is .327/.410/.613 (1.024 OPS) with 10 HR, nine doubles and two triples, in 150 ABs (49 hits), scoring 32 runs and batting in 32 with Pawtucket on the season.
