Buchholz to DL
The Red Sox have placed RHP Clay Buchholz on the 15-day disabled list with a broken nail on his right middle finger. OF Jon Van Every has been called up from Pawtucket to fill the vacated roster spot. Van Every is in the lineup for this afternoon's game at Baltimore in center field and batting in the ninth spot.
