Tejeda makes impressive debut for Greenville


4/24 Cup of Coffee: Yesterday Pawtucket defeated Syracuse 3-1 behind the strong start of Michael Tejera (1-2). He allowed 1 run in 6 innings of work giving up 4 hits and a BB. He had 4 Ks. Eric Hull went 1/3 of an inning giving up 1 hit and a BB. Bryan Corey went 2/3 of an inning retiring the 2 hitters he faced fanning 1 of them. Jon Switzer and Lee Gronkiewicz each threw a clean inning. Switzer had a K. Dusty Brown went 2 for 4. George Kottaras went 1 for 3 with a home run.
