Anderson's 2 home run night powers Jethawks to victory

Lancaster defeated Lake Elsinore 8-6. Chris Jones pitched 3 2/3 innings, giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 7 hits while striking out 4 and walking 2. Blake Maxwell pitched 3 innings in releif, giving up 1 run on 1 hit while striking out 1 to pick up the win. Lars Anderson went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI in the victory. Josh Reddick went 1 for 1 with his first home run for the Jethawks. Reid Engel and Dennis Blackmon picked up two hits a piece.
Greenville lost to Hickory 9-8 in 10 innings. Terumasa Matsuo pitched 4 innings giving up 6 runs (4 earned) on 10 hits while striking out 3. Ryne Lawson pitched 2 scoreless innings striking out 2. Mike Jones went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and 2 RBI, while Ty Weeden went 2 for 5 with a home run and 4 RBI. Yamaico Navarro went 2 for 6 with a home run and 1 RBI.
