Capellan Returned
The Cincinnati Reds returned LHP Jose Capellan to the Boston Red Sox organization today. Capellan was first taken in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 Draft by the San Francisco Giants and then claimed on waivers by Cincinnati. Capellan, a 2003 International signing, spent all of last season with the Lowell Spinners going 4-3 with a 3.69 ERA in 14 starts.
