Red Sox ink top Taiwanese catching prospect

Taiwanbaseball.com is reporting that the Red Sox have signed 18-year-old lefty-hitting Taiwanese C Chia-Chu Chen, a highly regarded hitting prospect with good defense behind the plate. It has also been reported that he will be taking part in the Fall Instructional League.
