Moss continues to swing hot bat


6/19 Cup of Coffee: Action was limited to just 1 game on Monday with Portland idle and both the California League and the South Atlantic League on their All Star breaks. That left AAA Pawtucket as the only team in action. They were edged 4-3 by Richmond. Devern Hansack had a quality start. He went 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and a BB. He had 6 Ks. Craig Hansen went 1 inning and was charged with a blown save. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit and a BB. Bryan Corey threw a scoreless 8th inning giving up a BB. Travis Hughes (4-3) recorded only 1 out in the 9th and was charged with the loss. He gave up a run on 1 hit and 3 BB. Brandon Moss went 3 for 5 with a run scored and a RBI. Two of his hits were doubles. Michael Tucker went 2 for 3. Jeff Bailey went 1 for 3 with a home run and a RBI. Chad Spann went 1 for 3.
