On Tuesday, Buffalo defeated Pawtucket 5-2. Chris Smith started and went 5 2/3 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and 2 BB. He had 3 Ks. Tim Bausher took the loss in relief. He gave up 3 runs on 3 hits and a BB. He had 2 Ks. Dustin Pedroia went 3 for 3. Jeff Bailey and Tyler Minges each went 2 for 4 with a home run. Ken Huckaby went 2 for 4.
