On Thursday the Pawtucket Red Sox won 9-6 in 10 innings over Scranton Wilkes-Barre. Chris Smith started for the Pawsox and went 5 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 4 hits while striking out 1 and walking 4. Dustin Pedroia went 2-5 with a double, walk and 2 RBI and Alejandro Machado went 3-5 with 3 RBI. Ryan Khoury also went 2-2 with an RBI and a walk in the win. In Portland the Seadogs pounded Harrisburg 13-4. Jose Vaquendano pitched 5 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 4 and walking 3. Jacoby Ellsbury went 3-5 with a homerun, RBI and 2 runs scored. Brandon Moss went 1-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 walks in the win. In Wilmington the Blue Rocks beat Winston-Salem 3-1. Scott Shoemaker pitched 6 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 1 and walking 3. Chuck Jeroloman went 1-3 with a homerun and 2 RBI and Jeff Corsaletti also went 1-3 with a homerun and an RBI. Greenville on Thursday fell at Columbus 4-3. Mike Rozier got the start and went 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 7 hits while striking out 3 and walking 1. Yahmed Yema went 1-4 with a homerun and Mickey Hall also went 1-4 with an RBI. Christian Lara also went 1-2 with a double and an RBI and also had a stolen base. In Lowell the Spinners fell to Brooklyn 4-1. Kris Johnson went 2 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 2 and walking 1. Jeff Vincent and Jorge Jimenez each went 1-3 and Mike Chambers also went 1-4 with an RBI in the loss. And finally the GCL Red Sox beat the GCL Reds 2-1. Jordan Craft made his Red Sox debut and pitched 2 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 3. Miguel Socolovich also pitched 3 shutout innings striking out 5. Jonathan Egan went 2-3 and Kris Negron went 2-4. Carlos Fernandez went 1-4 in the win.

Player of the Night: Jacoby Ellsbury who went 3-5 with a homerun, RBI and 2 runs scored. It was Ellsbury's first AA homerun.
