On Sunday the Pawtucket Red Sox beat Charlotte 10-6. Abe Alvarez got the start for the Pawsox and went 5 innings giving up 6 earned runs on 7 hits while strking out 6 and walking 3 while allowing 2 homeruns. Tim Bausher got the win in relief with 2 scoreless innings. Dustin Pedroia went 3-5 with 2 RBI and Wily Mo Pena went 2-4 with a homerun, 3 runs scored, an RBI and a walk. Jeff Bailey had 3 hits and Trent Durrington and Corky Miller each had 2 hits apiece in the win. In Portland the Seadogs pounded Connecticut 10-1. Luis Mendoza pitched 7 innings giving up 1 earned run on 7 hits while striking out 7. Brandon Moss went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored while Jacoby Ellsbury went 2-5 with 2 runs scored. Chad Spann went 3-5 with a double and 2 triples with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI. Luis Jimenez fell a single short of the cycle as he homered, tripled and doubled to go along with 3 RBI in the victory. Greenville on Sunday beat Rome 9-2. Ryan Phillips pitched for the Drive and went 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 3 hits while striking out 3 and walking 2 to pick up his second win of the year. Tony Granadillo went 2-3 with a double, 2 walks, and 4 RBI. Mark Wagner went 1-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. And finally Lowell fell at Williamsport 5-4 in 10 innings. Kris Johnson got the start and went 2 innings giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits while striking out 2. Bubba Bell, Reid Engel, Jorge Jimenez, and Luis Segovia had 2 hits apiece in the Spinners loss. Both Wilmington and the GCL Red Sox had the day off.

Player of the Night: Luis Jimenez who fell a single short of the cycle. On the night Jimenez had a double, triple, and a homerun to go along with 3 RBI.
