Sunday had a full slate of games including a doubleheader between Pawtucket and Indianapolis. The teams split the two games with Pawtucket winning the first 1-0 behind 5 innings of no hit ball thrown by Matt Ginter. Rodney Nye was 1 for 3. Indianapolis took the second game 6-0. Tyler Minges and Dustin Mohr were both 1 for 2. Portland defeated Connecticut 4-2. Brandon Moss was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI. Alberto Concepcion and David Bacani both went 1 for 3. Kason Gabbard threw 5 innings of 1 hit ball allowing just 1 run while striking out 4. Wilmington blasted Myrtle Beach 10-1. Jacoby Ellsbury went 4 for 6 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Scott White was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs while Jeff Corsaletti also was 3 for 5. Andrew Dobies pitched 5 scoreless innings for the victory allowing 1 run while striking out 3. Finally Greenville fell to Columbus by he score of 10 to 5. Mike Leonard was 2 for 4 with a home run. Logan Sorenson also went 2 for 4 with a RBI. Mike Bowden threw 5 innings of of shutout ball giving up just 3 hits. J.T. Zink blew the save and took the loss lasting just 1/3 of an inning giving up 6 runs on 4 hits. Player of The Night:Jacoby Ellsbury who went 4 for 6 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI and a home run.
