Futures at Fenway set for July 13

The ninth annual Futures at Fenway has been set for Sunday, July 13, as the Lowell Spinners will take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (CLE). Approximately 30 minutes after the game, fans will be treated to a 25th anniversary showing of Field of Dreams on the center field scoreboard. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, May 8 at noon, with prices starting at $15. As was the case last year, there will be designated sections for fans to bring their dogs to the game.

While the Lowell roster will not be finalized until after the draft in the first week of June, you can see some of the players expected to be on the team by checking out our Team Rosters page. Red Sox affiliates are 7-4 in the 11 games played at Fenway since 2006, but are 1-4 in the last five games, with the only win coming last year when Portland topped Harrisburg (WAS). Lowell last appeared in 2012, losing to Hudson Valley (TB) when starter Brian Johnson exited the game in the first inning after being struck in the face by a line drive.
