Red Sox to sign sixth-round pick Justin Haley
Fresno State right-hander Justin Haley, who the Red Sox drafted in the sixth round, has agreed to sign for "around $163,000" according to CBS 47 in Fresno, as reported by fresnobee.com. The slot value for the 211th pick is $163,500.
Haley is the second draft pick to have signed, and expect more soon. Between rounds 5 and 10, the Red Sox drafted five college seniors, with Haley, a junior, being the lone exception.
