Report: Red Sox sign 11th rounder Lucas LeBlanc
Ken Trahan of NewOrleans.com is reporting that the Red Sox have signed 2010 11th round pick outfielder Lucas LeBlanc. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
LeBlanc, who had been committed to LSU, hit .420 with 11 home runs and 67 RBI this season for Delgado Community College. Considered to have five-tool potential, LeBlanc is thought to have received second round money to sign away from his commitment to LSU.
