Internal front office promotions announced
This afternoon the Red Sox announced the promotions of Eddie Romero to Assistant Director, Latin American operations and Gus Quattlebaum to Assistant Director, Amateur Scouting. Romero had perviously served as Coordinator of Latin American Operations and Quattlebaum as a Major League Scout, positions both had held since 2006. The Sox also announced the elevation of veteran scout and coach Steve Peck to the position of Major League Scout.
